Bag Limits

Whilst we do not have specific bag limits, we are asking anglers for the co-operation, especiall on our Machair lochs and Sea Trout systems, with regard to only killing those fish required for the table.
Percentage Brown Trout returned in 2011 was 76%, with a range from our lochs of 54% to 95%, clearly a little more care is required in returning fish on some of our lochs in the years ahead.
Percentage Sea Trout returned in 2011 was 81%, with a range from our lochs of 74% to 88%, which is slightly better than in 2010.
